The 1.9 JTD 16v 112KW is the first incarnation of the Multijet engine. Utilising multiple injections per stroke it pushed refinement and power levels to a new high. With our software upgrade we can achieve 158KW and 443Nm torque which gives for superb performance. A later development of this engine got released with 127KW and 329Nm torque fitted to the Alfa GT and 147. This variant is a straight forward factory remapped version which uses the same turbo and Injectors, this therefore allows us to offer a factory 127KW upgrade for those wishing to stick to factory specifications. We develop all of our software on the rolling road to ensure accuracy in terms of both power delivery and also to ensure fuelling, boost pressures and exhaust gas temperatures are all within tolerance. Our aim is for maximum power whilst maintaining optimum reliability.

STAGE NOTES

This is our Stage 2 upgrade which builds upon the cloverleaf software. With no additional boost pressures this is our fast road option for optimum performance and reliability.

Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve enabling it to be blanked off. For more information please refer to our section on EGR Removal.Where applicable we are able to switch off the software functionality and monitoring for the Diesel Particulate Filter enabling it to be removed from the vehicle. Had this done a while back but haven't had a chance to leave a testimonial till now!  Felt quite privileged as Kevin told me that trips to London were quite rare on Fridays, so had to make an extra long test run when he completed the work to give it a bit of a run - evidently, I didn't give it enough welly so did so and promptly had licence busting speeds on the clock before I knew it!

Great work, courteous and now the car feels like it has a lot more power. Rather than feeling like a subdued animal, there is now a little bit of fight from the horses under the bonnet and the smile is bigger!

I would recommend you get this done. The service was excellent and the team there couldn’t do enough for you. Never have I come across such value for money.

In terms of the vehicle I was averaging 42 mpg on the motorway sitting at 70 mph. Now for the first time I am seeing 52 mpg and also have gone from 150bhp to 180bhp.
